Harry Reid: Abolish The 1st Amendment

Mr. Reid and his fellow Democrats say the government should have the ability to decide who can spend money in elections and how much they are allowed to spend. That would apply to candidates and other Americans, including the interest and pressure groups that play an increasing role in campaign advertising.

Yeah, that will give me confidence in our government.

Harry Reid should be impeached.

UPDATE: Harry Reid et al should be impeached, tried for treason, and imprisoned for life. Read this. Read as written (DUH) this would empower Congress to make it a federal felony to contribute money to Republicans, but not to Democrats. Or vice versa. As I read it, there is nothing which demands equal treatment: It empowers Congress to set limits, which might be zero. "It shall be a felony to contribute or solicit contributions to, any political candidate or party which does not adhere to the Platform of the Republican Party."

Pentagon Has A Plan For The Zombie Apocalypse

As well they ought. Just look at DC.

Under "Zombie Threat Summary," the plan highlights the different kinds of zombie adversaries one might find in such an attack. They include not only vegetarian zombies ("zombie life forms originating from any cause but pose no direct threat to humans because they only eat plant life"); evil magic zombies ("EMZs are zombie life forms created via some form of occult experimentation in what might otherwise be referred to as 'evil magic'"); and also chicken zombies.

Well finally they are getting with the program.

Mayo Clinic: Treating Cancer With Measles Vaccine

It will be pretty neat if they can replicate the finding, even if just on one type of cancer.

The cancer, which had spread widely through her body, went into complete remission and was undetectable in Erholtz’s body after just one dose of the measles vaccine, which has an uncanny affinity for certain kinds of tumors.

Erholtz was one of just two subjects in the experiment and the only one to achieve complete remission. But the experiment provides the “proof of concept” that a single, massive dose of intravenous viral therapy can kill cancer by overwhelming its natural defenses, according to Dr. Stephen Russell, a professor of molecular medicine who spearheaded the research at Mayo...

The normal dose of vaccine contains 10,000 infectious units of the measles virus, Russell said. ...Erholtz and another patient were injected with 100 billion infectious units, he said.

Hawaii Health Connector Debacle

The rollout of Hawaii’s health exchange was delayed and plagued with technical problems. The Connector was awarded more than $200 million in federal funds. It has used about $100 million. It signed up 9,217 individuals, plus 628 employees and dependents. To date, the Connector has raised only $40,350 in user fees....

Other than that, it has been great fun to watch.

I would have more respect for the people of Hawaii if they held these idiots responsible, but they don't, so I don't.

And don't get me started on the Hawaiian Homelands scandals.

We get the idiots with power who we deserve.
